THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
"THREE WEEKS."
A crowded audience was present at the T.P. Electric Cinema last evening, when iin excellent change was presented. A dramatisation of Eleanor Glynn's welbknown 'novel', "Three. Weeks," forms the chief attraction. "Three Weeks," tho book, has been widely read amongst the novel-reading-world, and it is hardly necessary to enlarge upon the story of the queen who darfd everything for a few weeks' happiness. '"'Three Weeks," the picture, is undoubtedly more advanced than the book. It graphically depicts the drama, and holds its audience in suspense right to the last scene. Tho acting is really excellent, especially that of Madeleine Traverse, who acts as the queen. The photography is all that is to be desired, and the settings aro magnificent. "Three Weeks" will bo shown again to-night and to-morrow night. The final episode of "The Black Box" had a splendid hearing, while "The Fortunes of Marianna" also got the appreciation it deserved. A strong array of comedies' and topicals completed a most up-to-date programme, which should draw another crowded house.
