SYDNEY, Thursday

The Government Statistician places his preliminary estimate of the 1915-1----wheat yield at .7, .2'}, .90 bushels, with, an average of 15.9. He estimates the. barley for malting at 70,000 bushels, Avith an average of 16.7, and oats a,b 1,4.10,000. with an average of 22.9; all showing a large increase. In the preA-i----ous year the wheat yield was 12,800,00Q> bushels only.
