SHELLS,
GERMANY'S COPPER REQUIRE-
MENTS.
(Received Wednesday, 8.25 a.m.) LONDON, Tuesday.
A leading copper authority estimates that Germany uses 309 tons of copper daily in her ammunition, and would require to import 72,000 tons yearly to maintain the supply of cartridges and shells.
Prices in Germany have increased by 200 per cent since the commencement of tho war.
