PAHIATUA STOCK SALE.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report ou their Pahiatua sale of 2ml inst as follows:—We offered a heavy yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle to a large attendance. Buyers from the Manawatu operated .freely for sheep, practically a total clearance being made under the hammer. Fresh conditioned cows sold well, and good weaver steers sold up to £2 2s. Quotations: —Pair 2-tooth and 4-tooth ewes, 13s to 14s; 4-tooth to syr ewes, 13s 3d to 14s; mixed aged ewes in low condition Us Sd to iils ltd; .s.rn. ewes do., Bs, 9s to 10s 3d; fat 2-tooths, ISs Id; mixed 2-tooths 15s 4d; 2-tooths, 15s 4d; 2-tooth wethers, (small) 13s od; medium woolly lambs 6s Sd to 9s 9d; fair woolly lambs, ss, 5s lid to 7s Id; good shorn lambs, 10a Id to 10s sd; others, 4s id, 5s 3d, Gs lOd to Ss 2d; light fat cows, £5 I.os to £G 13s Gil; empty cows, £3 7s to £4'l7s Gd; weaver steers, £2 2s; weaver heifers, 2Gs to ;Jos.
