CONGREGATIONAL SUPPORT. At a meeting of members of the Newton Congregational Church,, Auckland, held on the 20lh hist., in the Congregational Church, Edinburgh street, tho following resolution was carried: — "That this meeting representing the Newton Congregational Church expresses tho conviction that a sufficient number of the people of New Zealand have evidenced their desire for the referendum requested by the Bible in State Schools League to justify the Government in introducing the necessary measure and resolves to support the Executive of the League in any steps which may to be taken to ensure that the question shall bo submitted to the electors of the Dominion at the next general election; and that a copy <>f this resolution be sent to each of tho members of the Cabinet."
