LIBERAL COMPENSATION,
IMPUTATIONS WITHDRAWN.
"ress Association—Electric Telegranh—Cooyroht (deceived Wednesday, at 8.50 a.m.). LONDON, Tuesday. The dispute between Mr CharJj?s Prior and Major Eustace Loder hits been settled on the basis of a liberal compensation for Mr Prior's loss. The imputations against Mr Loder Avere withdrawn.
A cable message yesterday said: — Mr Charles Prior, a horse-breeder, is suing Major Eustace Loder, the -wellknown sportsman, for sending to Adstock, Bucks, the marc Auspicious, which was suffering from pink-eyed inHuenzn, thereby infecting twenty-three of Mr Prior's mares, six of whoni died. The. stud farm had to bo closed, •Mr Prior's loss being set down at £20,000. Auspicious was to be mated to Niel Gow. Plaintiff alleges that Auspicious had been sent to Adstock early to escape the infection raging at Major Lodcr's farm at Oldconnell, Kildare, Ireland.
