"Vess Association—Electrio Telecraph— Copyri*<H (Received Tuesday, at 9 a.m.) LONDON, Monday. Mary Wood, an elderly suffragette, who slashed with a chopper Sargent's portrait of Henry James, one of the most notable pictures in the Academy, has been released. She went on a hunger and thirst strike.
