A married man, Thos. Gleeson, aged thirty-seven, employed by the borough council, was killed at the Harrison street level crossing this evening. Gleeson was driving a dray across the line when an engine coming from Aramoho smashed the vehicle. The unfortunate man's neck was broken, but his body was thrown clear and not mutilated.
