Eagle, senior, left Carterton to-day for Wellington, where they will spend a fortnight's holiday. Miss 8 Whyte, of Carterton, has gone to Christchurch, where sho intends to spend a holiday. At the Catholic Church, Reefton, on Thursday, Miss Florence M. Campbell, daughter of Dr and Mrs F. Campbell, of Totara Flat, was married to Mr John J. Breeze, of the Post Office staff, Mas■terton, and eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. v J. Breeze, of Hokitika. The Rev. Fa- _ ther Galerne officiated. Mr and Mrs Breeze will resido in Masterton. A very pretty wedding waß celebrated last week at tho Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, Hamilton. The contracting parties were Miss Ella Biggs, third daughter of Mr Harry Biggs, of Pahiatua, and Mr David Mathveson, eldest sou of Mr David MathieBoJkof Hamilton: The bride was attendher sister, Miss Alma Biggs, and Misses Mollio Geary and Ethno Cobb. The bridegroom was supported by his brother, Mr William Mathicson, and Mr Edward Moore as gromsman.
