TO DESTROY DANDRUFF AND MAKE THE HAIR GROW.
By an Eminent Specialist,
An eminent physician and specialist , who has for years inauc a study of scalp and hair troubles, states that practically all hair and scalp trouble is primarily* due to the dandruff germ, which cats into the hair roots and gradually destroys thoU vitality, making, the hair" grow dry, grey and lifeless, until at last it falls , out, and total ; baldness results. To destroy the dand- : ruff germ and restore the glossy soft- • ness and natural colour of youth, ho ad- j vises the regular application of a tonic . which can bo put up by any chemist at ', ii small cost, consisting of throe ounces . of Bay Bum, J ounce Lavona do.Composco and ] dram Menthol Crystals; apply night and morning, rubbing briskly into the scalp and roots with the linger tips. Do not wet the hair more than necessary. It won't do any harm; but there is no need to wasto the tonic. The trouble—the dandruff germ—lies in the roots, and cannot be cured by treating the hair itself. The regular use of this tonic once a day keeps the hair soft, glossy and luxuriant, but is also the surest preventative of all forms of scalp , and hair troubles.
The above is doubtless the best hair tonic formula known. As a matter of fact, it is so remarkably effective that it is put up complete and ready for use under the name of Lavona Hair Tonic, and in that form is sold by leading chemists everywhere.
