SITTINGS AT MASTERTON.

man.) Ssess.ions of the Masterton SupCourt were continued yesterday oon, after we went to press. ■Alleged Criminal Assault. The charge against Neil Edward Hannah of having attempted to commit a criminal assault on a girl about 15 years of ago, at West Taratahi, was continued. After tho hearing of evidence, the jury retired for thirty minutes, and brought' in a verdict of not guilty, and the accused was discharged. Bankruptcy Business. The following discharges in bankruptcy were granted: —Frederick Cooper Fox (on the application of Mr Lavery); Nellie., St. Ledger and Eupert W. St. Ledger (on the application of Mr G. H. Cullen); Harold Goodin (on the application of Mr Cullen); James Johnson (on the application of Mr Cullen), subject to judgment for £47 in connection with preferential payments; Alfred Charles Bicknell (on the application of Mr K. K. .Jackson). ■
The court adjourned at 5.45 o'clock till this morning.
