TO-DAY'S PROCEEDINGS.

The sessions of the Masterton Supreme were resumed this morning. DivofflP Albert Maguire, of Carterton v. Margaret Ada Maguire and Richard Vivian, of Wanganui, farmer and drover (co-respondent), an application for a dissolution of'marriage on the ground •of adultery, and a claim for £200 damages. Mr T. Jordan appeared for petitioner. No defence was filed. Evidence of misconduct on the part of respondent was given by petitioner and Mrs Karkeek. The jury aiter retiring for about twenty minutes, brought in a verdict I for £100 damages. i His Honour granted a decree nisi, and entered up judgment, for the amount awarded. Elizabeth McKee v. .James McKee, nn application for divorce on tho grounds of desertion. Mr P. L. Hollings appeared for petitioner, and Mr S. Moran for respondent. Counsel for petitioner announced in opening that several grounds had been alleged in the petition, and an answer had been filed by respondent. Counsel continjcM,.that an arrangement had been to between the parties by which tfte ground of desertion only ■would be relied upon, and no opposition would then be offered by the respondent, petitioner to have custfc'dy of the youngest enild, and no costs t/o be against respondent Elizabeth McKee, petitioner, gave evidence to the effect that in 1907 respondent's conduct towards her had compelled her to leave him, and that she had supported herself since that date. Grimstrup McKee, daughter of petitioner, corroborated petitioner's evidence. His Honour said he was satisfied with the evidence, and granted a decree nisi, custody of the youngest child to be given to petitioner. Muriel B. P. Bcnner v. William James Eenner, petition for divorce on grounds of adultery. Mr S. J. Moran appeared for petitioner. Evidence of adultery was given arttr which his Ho.nour granted a decree nisi. Tie Court rose at noon.
