NAPIER, Monday

Tho Railway Department has been frequently urged to speed up the Nap-ier-Wellington express. Recently a Glynn engine was placed on the lino, and, owing to its power, the drivers found it difficult to maintain the timetable, the trains arriving at every station too early. Mr Hunter, M.P., asked the Government to "relieve the anxiety of the drivers" by re-modelling the time-table. Anxiety has bcon relieved by the removal of the engine.
