Mr G. C. Oox, who is well-known in Masterton, won the men's driving competition at the Dannevirke A. and P. Show yesterday.

Mr and Mrs David Pickering former residents of Masterton, are at present on a visit to the town.

Mr E. L. Homewood, of Masterton, has disposed of his property at Happy Valley to Mr A. Archibald, of Auckland. •''J^ Mr A. On Monday afternoon, at Martinborough, Mr Frederick Holland, of Mar- , tinborough, was married to Miss Mary Pearl Beverage, third daughter of Mr and Mrs J. A. Beverage, of Martiuborough, the Rev. E. T. Wynne Bond officiating. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attended by Miss Kelly, as bridesmaid, and Mr E. Beverage attended the bridegroom as best man.
