THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
A crowded bouse greeted the change of programme at the .Foresters' Hall last evening, tho chief attraction being tho groat Mormon drama, "'A Victim ot the Mormons." Tho picture was certainly all than was claimed for it, tho audience following the various thrilling .situations with tho keenest interest, and frequently bestowing applause where the incidents met with their approval. "A Victim of the Mormons' , is a healthy typo of drama which Messrs Thompson •Snd Payne have no hesitation in recommending to t-Jioir patrons. Supporting this special attraction wore Home capital dramas, the cliiel being: '■Thrown to the Lions," a story of Rome in the early days; "'The Teamster," a splendid Lubiu story: and '•Raffles, "a sensational subject. An excellent series of comedies, scenics, and industrials went to make up a first-class programme, which will be repeated this evening, Messrs Thompson and Payne have secured another attraction for Thursday night—viz., '"The Two Orphans," a Selig masterpiece.
