CULLERA OUTRAGE.
THE SEVENTH PRISONER.
AGITATION FOR COMMUTATION.

There is an extraordinary agitation to secure the commutation of the execution of the seventh Cullera prisoner. The King and Premier have each received numerous deputations and it is expected the King will submit, iv order to prevent au outburst of popular excitement.
A cablegram on Saturday stated that King Alfonso had commuted the sentence of death passed ou six of tho participants in the Cullera outrage in September to perpetual hard labour. A seventh man will be executed.
In September last there was serious rioting in Valencia and other parts of Spain. Grave excesses were committed, involving in some cases loss of life. Rioters at Cullera (A miles south-east of Valencia) invaded tho Mayor' residence, murdered the judge and severely injured tho judge's clerk aud another official.
