THE DAVIS CUP
AMERICA'S SUGGESTION
Press Association—Electric Telegraph— Copyright. Received Monday, at 9.15 a.m. SYDNEY, Monday. The Herald, referring to the cablegram stating that America would not compete for the Davis Cup outside America, states that the regulations' governing the contest have to be, altered by two-thirds of the nations which have competed.
If returned to America by legislation instead of by conquest tho Cup will be only Dead Sea fruit.
It is hard to believe that America will put forward such a suggestion.
