NORTHERN ASSOCIATION'S TOURNAMENT,

WELLINGTON, Sunday

The Northern Bowling Association tournament concluded ou Saturday. under unfavourable weather conditions. Rain fell over-night, and made the greens dead, aud showers fell at intervals during the day. A high wind also blew. The Carlton and Newtown teams met for the final in the Consolation match. The former team comprised Otter, Gaudin, Lamb and McGregor (skip), and the latter Mayo, J. Sexton, Price aud Prince (skip)- Prince's team won by Ato 21. Victoria aud Pousonby met for the final in the last try match. The teams were :—Victoria: Tucker, Chapman, Hatch aud Hemingway (skip). Ponsonbv: Casey, Beecrof*, Snaddon, Walker (skip). Victoria won by 22 to 21. Tho prizes were presented by Mrs J. S. Keith, wife of the President of the Associatiou.
