LONDON, Friday.

The Nationalist members of tho House of Commons held a meeting prior to the Coronation, and on that occasion Mr John Redmond, M.P., predicted that it would benefit the cause of Home Rnlo in England if the party participated in the Coronation ceremonies. Other Nationalists dissented, fearing the bad effect of such action in Ireland. As a result of the discussion, thirtythree were in favour of attending the ceremony and twenty-nine were against attending Thereupon Mr T. P. O'Connor, M.P., emphasised the danger of a cleavage, and for that reason it was resolved that the party should not attend the ceremonies.
