PERTH, Thursday.
In the Legislative Assembly, Mr Underwood, a Labour meraoer, discussing the University Bill, condemned the speudiug of money iv the teaching of classics aud music. They did not waut Latin, and there was nothing in Plato. University men were always in the rear. It was easier for a porcupine to go backwards through a canvas hose,than for a University man to go into politics.
