WOUNDED ROBBER CAPTURED
Press Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, Thursday. Masked robbers boarded au electric car in the outskirts of Santa Monica. They fired bullets through the roof, and ordered the motor-man to secure the jewels and money of twenty-two passengers. One passenger fired, wouuding a robber. The lattei replied, but the bullet pierced the passenger's coat and dropped harmlessly into his pocket. The desperadoes tied. A sheriff's posse later captured the wounded robber. A bullet has perforated both his cheeks. A second passenger was shot in the chest, during the robbers' first fusilade.
