SYDNEY, Friday.

The Labour Congress negatived a resolution that for the present objec-tive-there be substituted the development of higher individuality and clearer appreciation ol economic jus-, tice by the socialisation of industry aud wider diffusion of education. It also rejected an amendment favouring the seouriug to the workers fully, the result of their skill and industry by collective ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange. A committee was. appointed to confer with the Premier and AttorneyGeneral ou the question ot ensuring nominees to the Legislative Council, to give effect to the labour platform. The debate on the Federal referendum proposals was fixed for tomorrow.
