ThosQ who are well-informed with regard to the probabilities concerning the future of Court doings at. Homo, pronounce unhesitatingly that a
change will bo inaugurated with the advent of King George and Queen Mary. The general belief is that the now reign will iutroduce, to a con-
sMerable extent, the social restrictions of Queen Victoria. Queen Mary was trained by a model mother, famed for her love of homo and family, aud the Queen herself has no taste for sport or card-playing. She is intensely patriotic, and eucourages ail British industries aud arts by her patrouage. She never plays golf, rarely ever rides, but is au expert needlo-woiuan, so that it is probable that the domestic accomplishment will once more rank among the social attractions of women. Queeu Mary is pre-eminently domestic and is endowed with a work-a-day fund of womanly common sense, wide sympathy and practical philanthropy. With regard to tiie uuiversaily-ioved Queen Mother, it is her intention to reside permanently in the retirement of her country house at Saudringham, but she will spend part of each year at her villa near Copenhagen.
