ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

A weddiug of considerable iuterest iv the town was celebrated ac St. Matthew's Church yesterday afternoou, by the Rev. H. Watson, wheu Mr William Entwistle, of Pahiatua, sou of the late Mr Henry Entsvistle, of Accringtou, Lancashire, aud Miss Ella Margaret Townsend, eldest daughter of Mr G. A. Townseud, of Masterton, were united iv the bouds of matrimony. The bride was given away by her father aud looked charming in a gowu of white liberty silk, trimmed with embroidered chiffon and chautilly lace. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet of white abutilous, and wore the orthodox veil aud orauge blossoms. Miss Madge Townsend, sister of the bride, acted in the capacity of bridesmaid, aud was daintly attired in a frock of heliotrope silk eolienue with a draped skirt, aud au amethyst beaver hat with gold galoii aud plume. She carried a horseshoe bouquet of heliotrope Michaelmas daisies aud ferus. Mr C. Fairbrother acted as best man. Afterwards the bridal party aud guosts sat dowu to a daiuty weddiug breakfast at the residence of the bride's parents, where the usual felicitous toasts were duly honoured. Mr aud Mrs Entwistle left by tho aftoruoou traiu for the South, the bride wearing a navy tailor-made costume, trimmed with heliotrope and black braid, aud a heliotrope hat.
