SHOOTING FATALITY.

(By Telegravh — Press Association.') HAMILTON, Thursday.

William Henry Pope, a farmer at Tau whare, lately of Hunterville, met with a fatal accident yesterday. He was out shooting, when the report of a gun was heard, and Pope was found lying with his skull blown away. It is surmised that he had taken aim, when he stumbled, the gun accidentally discharging.

Deceased was aged thirty-nine years, aud leaves a widow and a large family.
