CORRESPONDENCE.

INVERCARGILL REVENUE RE-

TURNS

|~TO THE EDITOR.'.

Sir,—l. notice by returns recently published in. the Daily' Times that there has been a large iucrease in the revenue derived from the sale.of. beer in Invercargill for January, 1910, compared with January. 1909. Tins seems strange, Invercargill being a No-License town. Either No-License seems to be a failure, or we are being cozened by the misuse of figures. What have the No-License Party to say on the matter. —I am, etc, PEWTER POT. (Invercargilll is a port, and we have heard that alcoholic liquor for other districts is lauded there.— Ed. W.D.T.)
