LONDON, Wednesday.

Captain Scott, in connection with his Antarctic expedition,lauds twentytwo men at McMurdo Sound. He then leaves six at King Edward's Laud for meteorological observations.

The expedition leaves New Zealand in November, aud spends January in erecting huts, and February and March in making the provision depots. Captain Scott expects to cover two hundred miles before settling down for tlie winter.
