TheWairarapa championship matches will be commenced to-morrow. This year there will be only one seuior game each Thursday, as against three games last season. The team to represent the Huia Club in their match against the Hinenioa Club, to bo played at Cartertou tomorrow, will be selected from the following :—Misses Richards, Brideu, Fiuuis, Barr, Dalrymple, Wagg, Rayner, Johnson, Peters, Ball, La Roche, Hatch and Reynolds.
