STOCK SALES.

Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report :—A fair entry of sheep and a good yarding of cattle came forward at Levin. Bidding was a litle easier. Fat ewes 14s 9d, store ewes 12s 2d, two-tooth ewes 14s, two-tooth wethers 12s 3d, ewes and lambs 9s lid (all counted), two-year steers £3 6s, twoyear heifers £2, 2)£-year heifers £3 Is, fac bullocks £8, light £7 4s, fat cows £4, empty cows 39s 6dto £2 10s, dairy cows £5 10s to £7 10s.

Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:—We had a good yarding of sheep and cattle at Levin. The demand was not so active as at last sale, but a total clearance was made. Fat ewes 14s, twotooth wethers 13s 4d to 13s 6d, small mixed two-tooths lis, forward bullocks £6 2s 6d, three-year steers £4 lis, 2% and 3-year steers £4 os6d, 2-yearsteers £4 Os 6d, 2-year steers £2 10s to £3 3s, yearling and eighteen month steers £2 Bs, yearling steers £1 19s 6d, two-year heifers £2 9s, yearling heifers 25s to 26s 6d.

Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:— There was a fair entry of both sheep and cattle at Feilding. The demand for sheep was only moderate, but there was good demand for cattle. Empty aged ewes 9s 9d, fat Shropshire ewes 15s 7d, small shorn two-tooth wethers 12s lid, small shorn two-tooth ewes 14s Id, fat bullocks £6 15s to £7 lis, fat cows £5 2s, fat heifers £6, forward cows £3 2s to £3 10s, store cows 565, cows with calves £2 15s, young bulls 395, old dairy cows £2 12s 6d.
