An exciting struggle is proceeding between the Moderates aud Extremists for supremacy in the National Movement. A stormy conference at Michnapur resulted in Sureudanath Banerjee being deposed as head student of the Nationalists community, iv favour of Arbinta Ghose, who was lately tried and acquitted on a charge of sedition.
