At the Palmerston S.M. Court, this morning, William. Tie was charged with permitting opium smoking on his premises on the night of May 29th, and was fined £5 and costs £4 12s 6cl. Tie, together with Ah Su, Ah Quong and Ah Ling, was fined £1 and coss? on a charge of smoking opium.—Association.
