SORES OF LONG STANDING. Sores of long standing, or abrasions of any kind, burns, scalds, or cuts, may he quickly healed by.the following remedy:Bathe with warm water (boiled), and over the wound a piece of lint or soft white rag spread thickly with a soothing salve such as is Bee Ointment. Cut the lint to the size of the wound only, and bandage to keep the dressing in its place. After the first application of the ointment, the wound should not be washed, because too much contact with water produces " proud flesh," or to use the surgical term " spurious granulation." Bee Ointment has been tried for years with the greatest success. It is an absolutely pure ointment which contains properties highly stimulating to the growth of healthy tissues ; it does not irritate or smart, but leaves behind it a delightful, soothing and pleasant feeling, and altogether is a wonderfully quick healing remedy. Sold everywhere, 1/6.*
