Wheat, 4s; oats, to 2s 9d; barley, 3s; maize, 4s 9d; flour, £11 15s; straw chaff, 37s 6d ; prime oaten-sheaf, 80s; pollard, £6 10s ; bran, £5 ss. Grass seeds : rye (Hawke's Bay) 6s 9d to Bs, Southern 5s 6d to 7s 3d. Potatoes, market rates.
Butter, Bd, factory lid; cheese, 6|d; eggs, 1/9.'
These prices are wholesale buying, and apply to this district only unless otherwise stated.
Owing tithe Millers' Association reducing flour 103 per ton, the Wairarapa Farmers' Co operative Association have decided to reduce 10s also.
