The Buller Estate.
Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows:—The sale of the Buller Estate, at Levin, on Wednesday last, drew a good attendance of local settlers, besides buyers from Wellington, Wairarapa, and Manawatu. Bidding under the hammer was not altogether spirited, and only two sections changed hands at auction. After the sale, however, the whole of the property, with the exception of one section was quickly disposed of practically at the reserve prices. The following were the prices realised : — Section 1, <i 3 acres, to Mr Jno. Hall, £25 15s per acre; section la, (iO acres, Mr Jno. Hall, at £25 15s; section 2, (iS acres, to Messrs Peterson and Rasmusseu, at £35; section 2a, 65) acres, to Messrs Peterson and Rasmussen, at £25; section 3, 100 acres, to Mr Geo. Kilsby, at £24; section 4, 100 acres, to Mr Geo. Kilsby, at £24; section 6, 150 acres, to Mr John Davies, at £25.
