The steamer Waikare, a ship of most complete equipment and exceptional comfort, has again been placed on special commission. The sailing date on this occasion is Tuesday, 15th January, from Dunedin. The trip will altogether occupy about two weeks, three days of which will be spent in Milford Sound, in order that excursionists may visit the noted Sutherland Falls. Other places of interest included in the programme will be Preservation Inlet, Dusky Sound, Wet Jacket Arm, Long Sound, Crooked Arm, etc. As in previous years, the number of passengers will be limited, and those who contemplate making this delightful and health giving excursion are advised to lose no time in making application.
