UNREST IN MOROCCO.

Raisuli Causing Further

Trouble

[Received Last Night, at 10.24 p.m.)

Morocco, Yesterday.

A Spanish electric light company, at Tangier, refused to pay blackmail to the brigand Raisuli, who thereupon closed tho works.

At the instance of the Sultan, tho works wore re-opened, but Raisuli again closed them until the company conceded his terms.

This incident has caused anxiety, as showing that Raisuli is the only existing force in northern Morocco.

An encounter took place at Tidkjija between a band of Moors and a number of Tirailleurs.

A number of Tirailleurs were killed, also one hundred and fifty Moors, including several chiefs.
