Position Still Unsatisfactory.
The Porte's Perfidious Tactics. British Minister Stands Firm. (Received To-day, al 9.27 a.m.) London, Last Night. Router's correspondent at Stamboul states that Sir Nicholas O'Conor, British Minister at Constantinople, on Sunday night, replying to the Porte's agreement to evacuate Tabah, and the appointment of the Delimitation Commission, declared that the form of the Turkish Note was unsatisfactory, and insisted on the unconditional ancl complete acceptance of the British demands. The order gave the Sultan a few hours grace. The navy considers that the ultimatum expires to-day.
