Manawatu Easily Beaten

(By Telegraph — Fress Association.) Palmheston N., Last Night. The match, Manawatu v. Melbourne, was concluded to-day, ending in a nine wickets defeat of Manawatu.

Manawatu were all disposed of for 83 in the second innings, leaving Melbourne 71 to get to win. This they did with the loss of one wicket. Armstrong took ten wickets for 20, and Butler three for 1-1.
