Annual Meeting.

Palmeeston, Last Nigh t;

The annual meeting of the North Island Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Association was held to-day.; All portions of the Island were represented by delegates, who were cordially welcomed by the Mayor.

In the ' case of' the, dispute between the Masterton Society and an! exhibitor, in which the Association was asked to arbitrate, it was resolved that the exhibitor had no claim against the Master ton Society.

Dates were fixed for future Shows as follow :— Woodville, June 6th; Auckland, June 14th, 15th and 16th; Waihi, June 27th and 28th ; Newton, July 6th and,7th; Gigborne and Eketahiina, June 11th and 15th j'Manawatu, June2oth, 21st-and 22nd; Wellington, June 28th, 29th and 30th; Wanganui, July 4th and sth ; Napier, July 24th or 25th; Feilding, July 12th and 13th; New Plymouth, June 29th and 30th; Hawera, July 18th and 19th; Masterton, July 17th and 18th; Dannevirke, July 20th and 21st; Pahiatua, July 10th and 11th; Hastings, July 31st and August Ist.

Championships were allotted as follow :— Hawera, Andalusians and Black Ilamburgs; Waihi, British Game; Napier, Black Orpingtons ; Auckland, Bufi Orpingtons; New Plymouth, Brown Leghorns; Hastings, White Leghorns and Game Bantams ; Manawatu, frlinorcas and Dorkings ; Wellington, Brahmas and any other variety of Bantams; Wanganui, Indian Runner Ducks and Indian Game; Dannevirke, Langshans and Spangled Ilamburgs; Feilding, Golden Wyandottes; Masterton, Plymouth Rocks ; Woodville, Silver Wyandottes ; Eketahuna, White Wyandottes; Pahiatua, Partridge Wyandottes and Aylesbury Ducks; Gisborne, Pekin Ducks and Pencilled Ilamburgs ; Auckland, Canaries; Manawatu, Pigeons, Fantail and Frill; Newton, Magpies and Tumblers; Wellington, Working Homers and Dragoons.
