VAL VOUSDEN.
Although many entertainers visit New Zealand, there are very few who possess the ability and power to entertain an audience for a whole evening, and A r al A'ousden has proved himself capable of the undertaking, without in any way tiring his audience. He is one of the most travelled of living entertainers, having visited every kingdom and principality in Europe, South Africa, Upper and Lower Egypt, India, China, Japan, North and South America. The Australasian, referring to Mr Val Vousden's last appearance in Sydney with Mr Harry Rickard's Company, said :—" AA r e are sorry to bid adieu to one of the happiest and most popular entertainers that ever visited Australasia. His budget of Irish humour is exhaustless. 'Mrs O'Rourke' was here every evening, and her knowledge of all affairs of interest to an audience is simply remarkable. AYe have spent many an hour laughing at Mr Vousden's humour, and have heartily applauded his many talents." His appearance 'at the Town Hall on Thursday next is positively the only one in Masterton, en which occasion million prices arc lo be charged.
