Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated 19th inst:—" Butter : Buyers are operating less freely. Copenhagen official quotation is three kroner lower (about 3s 4d) per cwt. Total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending 14th inst. amounted to 74,000 cwt., as compared with 59,000 cwt. for the corresponding period of last year. More demand for unsalted than salted."
