MANAWATU SHOW.
Record Entries
(By Telegraph — Press Association.)
Palmerston N., This Day.
Although specific figures are not yet available, the entries for tho. spring show of the Manawatu A. and P. Association, on November Ist, 2nd and 3rd, indicate that all previous records will be eclipsed. In horses there will be quite fifty per cent, increase, the total in all classes being 700. Cattle and sheep are just about the same as last year, with a slight increase if anything. Several new breeders are represented in these classes. Pigs show a decided increase, and dogs an increase of 240. The poultry entries are large, but cannot be compared, to last year owing to an alteration in the classes due to the Winter Show, only utility classes being scheduled at the forthcoming Show r . Entries for the horse competitions total 240. In sheep, horses, cattle and pigs the Show will be distinctly representative of North Island breeders.
