At the Magistrate's Court here, yesterday, a young man named Harold Clifford pleaded guilty to stealing a horse, saddle and bridle, valued at £35, and was remanded to Wellington for sentence.
Christchurch, Last Night,
The Canterbury centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association has decided to nominate both I-I. S. Williams and F. Drake to represent the province in the Australasian championships at Sydney. It was stated that the Otago centre had nominated, Burke.
