Dalgety and Company, Ltd., AVellington, have received the following cablegrams from their London Office, dated 13th inst. :-— New Zealand frozen quote :— Canterbury mutton: Crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, f.a.q.,/55-651bs, 4d per lb.; light weights, North Island mutton, 3£d. Prime Canterbury lamb 32 401bs, 4 3 y d per lb; North Island lamb, 4|d per lb; heavy weights, North Island lamb, 'Id to 4jd per lb. The lone,.of: the market is very depressed.—Frozen beef: Prices are firmer, Ox hindquarters, 180-2201b5, f.a.q., 3§d to 3id per lb; ox forequarters, 2|d.to 2|jd per lb. Butter: Market firm. Copenhagen official quotations unchanged. AYe expect no immediate change in prices. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending 7th inst., 73,000 cwt, as compared with 82,000 cwt. for the corresponding period last year. More demand for unsalted than salted.
