Duff's score included eleven fourers. Hopkins was taken at the wickets. The partnership between Noble and Darling was characterised by great vigour, 258 runs going on in two and a-lialf hours. Noble played splendid cricket, his innings were marred, however by two chances. He has thirty-one fours in his score, and Darling twelve fours. The score stands four wickets for -17-1.
