London Markets
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company received the following cablegram from London, dated 4th January:—" We quote present spot values for the following descriptions of tallow: -Fine mutton, 29s 3d ; good beef, 263; mixed, 24s 9d. Fine mutton, market upward tendency. New Zealand wheat —Long-berried, spot, ex granary, per 4961b5, 33s 6d; short-berried, 32s 6d; New Zealand oats, sparrowbill, ex granary, per 3841b, 20s 3d; Danish, ex granary, per 3201b, 17s 9d, c.i.f., 16s 3d."
