Sheepskin, Hide and Wool Sale.

Gompany (Limited) report as follows :— At our fortnightly sale we catalogued ■fc-2000 skins, 150 hides, and 50 packages s of wool. There was a good attendance of buyers, and everything was cleared at prices a shade better than last sales. We quote : Sheepskins — Halfbred and Merino, 7d to 7|d; fine crossbred, 7d to ; coarse, 6|d to 7d; short wools and dead, 5d to 6£d ; lambskins sid to 6f d.
Green skins—Pelts, 8d to Is 9d ; lambskins, Is 9d to 2s 3d. Hides—Heavy ox, none offering; medium ox, 20s to 22s 6d ; light, 16s to 19s ; cow, heavy, 15s to 225; light, 9s to 14s 6d; calf, Is to 2s sd. Wool in bags—Crossbred fleece, 6£d to B|d ; locks and pieces, to 6£d.
