GREYTOWN NOTES.

(From Our Own Correspondent.)

The funeral of the late Mrs Ticehurst, took place on Thursday afternoon, and was largely attended by the friende and relations of the family. A party of prospectors left Greytown last week for a trip through the Bimutaka Ranges, proceeding up the old road and then striking across country and coming put by way of the Tauherenikau Kiver. They feel convinced there are good indications of coal being found in workable quantities, and also they got colour of gold in several places. Some of the stone is being sent to the Government analyist for examination.
