GERMAN MOTOR CLUB.
This Year's Race.
Hilly and Dangerous Route.
The Gordon-Bennet Committee of the German Automobile Club has unanimously decided that this year's race shall take place in June or July. The course decided on is 85 miles long, so that it will have to be traversed four times, according to the rules governing the race. The start will probably be made at Saalburg, four miles from Hamburg, passing through Usingen, Wellburg, Limburg, Kirberg, Neuhof, Esch, Konigstein, Oberursee, and thus to Saalburg again. A well-known Berlin correspondent says, " Compared with the proposed routo the Irish course was a king 1" The route is said to be very hilly, and dangerous places very frequent, while there are six railway crossings to pass each circuit.
