Alfred Lyttelton, Colonial Secretary, in responding to an address from the Agents-General, expressed deep interest in the welfare of the colonies, and the great pleasure it afforded him to hear of their progress. It would be Ms earnest desire to do his utmost to promote unity with each other and the Motherland.
